History of Career Colleges of America

  • The Mission of Career Colleges of America is:To provide quality and valued-training programs and services to our students in order for them to obtain the skills and competencies needed for entry-level positions in their chosen fields; to locate employment opportunities for our graduates; and to promote an environment for employees and students, which fosters teamwork, personal growth, and respect for the individual.

  • The school was established in 1988 to provide entry-level training in various career opportunities. The college was purchased in 1991 and its name was changed to Career Colleges of America which is a DBA of CCA Educorp.

Based on similar needs in Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties of Southern California, Career Colleges of America opened its San Bernardino campus in 1994 and Los Angeles campus in 2003. In May 2011 CCA is opening its newest campus in Gardena.

  • On December 14, 1999, Career Colleges of America received full accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) and is subject to ongoing review by this national accrediting agency.
