Pharmacy Technician:

The PT program prepares students for an entry-level position as a pharmacy technician.  Graduates will be able to identify and understand drug nomenclature/abbreviations, dosage forms, and routes of administration.  They also will be able to identify common medications, perform dosage calculations, and conduct general operations of the Drug Distribution system.  Eligible graduates may obtain employment in hospitals and retail pharmacies.
